An extract from my recently completed play, One Brick Fell, Then Another.
A devised performance which explores the aspects of aging and the ever growing separation between the body and mind.
This was an experimental performance I created at university that placed the audience in an adventure game scenario. Participants read the scenario on the large screen and voted for and against various outcomes. The revelation at the end was that they'd in fact re-enacted the lives of the German population during the build up to the Second World War. The audience was stunned to realize that perhaps they were not so resilient to the influence of Hitler as they'd have liked.
The Yellow Snake is a surreal romantic comedy from French director Thibaut Moraldi. It's currently on show in festivals around Europe and will be available for public viewing in 2014.
Prison Break was an excellent immersive theatre performance, inviting audiences to experience life behind bars. They had to complete tasks, talk to characters and extract the information required for the big break out at the end. Those who reached the getaway cars were taken to an open bar to celebrate, those who didn't were promptly rounded up and loaded into the back of a prison van...
Some behind the scenes images of a thriller shot in Bristol. Black Coffee is currently in the post-production stage.
This was a piece of new writing I performed in at the Bierkeller Theatre in Bristol. It was a hard-hitting piece set around the first 24 hours after a rape victim wakes from a coma.
Performing in a short film for an MA student; Paranoia was shot over two days and used multimedia technology.
